Practical ADHD Coaching for Real Life
ADHD isn’t a flaw. It’s a different way of thinking that can be brilliantly creative, fast and intuitive, and also genuinely hard work to manage day to day. Many of the people I support are highly capable on paper, but privately they’re battling overwhelm, burnout, procrastination, disorganisation, and that familiar sense of “Why is this so much harder for me than it seems to be for other people?”
My work is about helping you build a life and working style that actually fits your brain. Not through willpower or perfect routines, but through practical, realistic systems you can use on real weeks, including the messy ones.
Who I work with
I coach adults with ADHD from all walks of life. A lot of my clients are professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and high-achievers who are juggling a great deal and want more reliable follow-through without burning out. I also work with women where menopause is adding another layer to focus, memory, energy, and emotional regulation.
If you appear “fine” to other people but you’re exhausted by the effort it takes to keep everything going, you’re exactly the sort of person I’m used to supporting.
What we work on
Every coaching relationship is tailored, but some common themes are:
✔ creating simple organisational systems that you can actually maintain
✔ reducing overwhelm and getting clear on priorities
✔ Tackling procrastination and avoidance kindly, but directly
✔ building better time awareness and planning that works on busy weeks
✔ improving follow-through on projects and admin
✔ boundaries, workload management, and burnout prevention
✔ rebuilding confidence and self-trust, especially after years of feeling behind
The goal is to make life feel lighter, clearer, and more manageable, with steadier progress over time.
How I coach
I’m practical and strengths-based. That means we focus on what genuinely helps you, not what you “should” be able to do. We look at your patterns, the points where things tend to unravel, and the conditions that make it easier for you to start, stay with, and finish tasks.
My approach is built around:
✔ understanding how your ADHD shows up in real life (not just in theory)
✔ choosing strategies that suit your executive function profile, personality, lifestyle and work demands
✔ creating supportive structure and accountability that doesn’t overwhelm you
✔ using real-world tools that simplify, rather than complicate
Coaching should feel like a relief. Clear thinking, practical next steps, and someone in your corner to help you stay on track.
Why I get it
I’m neurodivergent myself (ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia), and I’m also a parent of grown up ADHDers. So I understand the daily friction points and the emotional load that can sit underneath them. That lived experience matters, but it’s not the whole story. It’s paired with professional training and over 26 years of coaching experience, which means you’ll get warmth and empathy alongside structure, challenge, and results.
Access to Work and workplace support
Alongside private coaching, I provide ADHD job coaching through the UK Government’s Access to Work scheme. I’m used to supporting people who need practical workplace strategies, especially around workload, prioritising, boundaries, communication, and sustainable performance.
Credentials & Professional Expertise
I’m an ICF-credentialed coach (ACC) and a Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC) with 26 years experience. I’m committed to ongoing professional development and have completed a year-long advanced ADHD coach training with iACT, as well as recently training in group coaching with Barefoot Coaching.

I adhere to ICF professional and ethical standards. I hold a current DBS barring certificate, have completed Level 3 Safeguarding Adults training, and I’m registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection.
Whether youre navigating the complexities of leadership, legal practice, or high-stakes decision-making with ADHD in the mix, I offer tailored support to help you lead with clarity, focus, and purpose.
A little about me (the human bit)
When I’m not coaching, you’ll often find me sailing in the Solent. I love the combination of freedom and focus it brings, and it’s a good reminder that the right conditions can change everything, something I bring into my work with clients. I also share my garden with a few wild hedgehogs, which never fails to make me smile.
