ADHD Life & Business Coach Sussex

ADHD Life & Business Coaching in Sussex and across the UK. Based in East Grinstead, working with clients on Zoom from Brighton to Birmingham and beyond.

You searched for someone local. Someone who knows what life in the South East actually looks like. You also wanted real expertise, not a productivity hack dressed up as coaching.

Based in Sussex, working everywhere

I have spent all my adult life in Sussex. I am based in East Grinstead, in West Sussex, on the borders of East Sussex and Surrey, and not far from Kent. I sailed and raced out of Brighton Marina for many years. The beach and Churchill Square are still where I head when I am in town.

Sussex is also where I started my ADHD work. I co-ran the Sussex ADHD Support Group in the mid 1990s, in the early days of UK ADHD awareness. I also sat on a multi-agency working group developing the guidelines for children’s ADHD services in West Sussex.

That work led me into formal coaching study. I first qualified in December 1999 and have kept training ever since: my Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC) qualification with The International ADHD Coach Training Centre (iACT), my ICF-ACC credentialling, a recent Group Coaching course with Barefoot Coaching, and study in Malaga and Rotterdam. More than two decades of formal qualifications and continuing study sit behind the coaching I do today.

I work with ADHD and AuDHD professionals across Sussex and beyond. My clients have come from Brighton, Hove, Crawley, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Eastbourne, Worthing, and the villages in between. They have also come from London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Lisbon.

We work on Zoom. Same depth, same coaching, less commuting.

You wanted local. You didn’t want the commute.

When you typed “ADHD coach Sussex” into Google, you were looking for someone who understands the area. Someone who knows what a 90-minute commute to London does to your nervous system, what running a small business in Crawley really takes, what a school run in Brighton looks like before 8am.

You were not looking to add another car journey to your week.

Virtual coaching gives you the local understanding without the travel. We meet on Zoom for 45 minutes, weekly or fortnightly, from your sofa or your office. The coaching that used to mean a drive to Hove now happens in the time it takes you to make a cup of tea.

The Sussex clients I work with

Sussex has a lot of entrepreneurs, and Brighton in particular has more creative entrepreneurs per square mile than almost anywhere else in the UK. Designers, illustrators, musicians, podcasters, agency owners, coaches, consultants. You’ll find them working from the cafes in the North Laine, from co-working spaces across the city, or from kitchen tables in Hove and Kemptown. Brighton also has a large ADHD community and a vibrant LGBTQ+ community.

I work with all of you. I also work with solicitors and barristers in chambers in Brighton and London, and with medical professionals across the South East.

If you are a solopreneur juggling everything yourself, a creative entrepreneur running a one-person studio in Hove, a partner at a Sussex law firm whose admin is starting to slip, or a medical professional who is brilliant with patients and chaotic everywhere else, my coaching is built for the way your brain works.

What the coaching looks like

Most clients start with a free 20-minute Discovery Session. We talk about what is going on in your life and your business, whether coaching is the right fit for you, and which programme suits where you are.

If we go ahead, sessions are 45 minutes on Zoom. Weekly works best, fortnightly works too. We meet in programmes so you have a clear container of time and a defined outcome at the end.

You can see the current programmes and what is included on my pricing page.

Why my clients trust me

I have been an ADHD Life & Business Coach for 26+ years. I am ICF-ACC credentialled. I have ADHD myself, so the coaching comes from lived experience as well as training and qualifications.

I am not going to teach you a productivity hack you have tried and abandoned three times. I am going to help you build a way of working that fits the brain you actually have.

“Working with Linda has been a hugely positive experience. She’s a thoughtful, practical, and empathetic coach who brings both structure and warmth to our sessions.”

“Working with Linda has already made a lasting change in my daily life and habits.”

Frequently asked questions about ADHD coaching in Sussex

Click on a question to reveal the answer.

Do you offer in-person coaching in Sussex?

No, all my coaching is on Zoom. It means no commute, no travel time, and the same depth of work whether you are in Brighton, Crawley, Eastbourne, or anywhere else.

Where in Sussex are you based?

East Grinstead, on the West Sussex border with East Sussex, Surrey, and Kent. I have spent my whole adult life in Sussex.

What parts of Sussex do you work with?

All of it. My clients have come from Brighton, Hove, Crawley, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Eastbourne, Worthing, Chichester, and the villages in between. Because we meet on Zoom, your location within Sussex makes no difference.

Can ADHD coaching be funded if I live in Sussex?

Yes. Funding through Access to Work is available to UK residents who qualify. Some employers fund coaching through CPD or wellbeing budgets. Most clients pay privately.

Do you work with clients outside Sussex?

Yes. I work with clients across the UK and internationally. Sessions are scheduled in UK time.

Why only Zoom, not in person?

Online sessions have given my clients more consistency, less travel time, and the freedom to do coaching from a place they feel comfortable. The work is the same, the depth is the same, only the commute is missing.
